Course Overview

Round-trip engineering, or developing UML Model and code in Java in-synch, been a legend of IT for several years, however till recently it was rarely used outside of elite engineering teams. Sparx EA and Eclipse Integration enable all Java developers to use visual Object-Oriented Design.

The course emphasises practicality of UML Modelling, saving time and achieving better quality with UML.

The course specifically addresses Use Case-driven Design, the recognised Best Practice for Object-Oriented Design with UML.

Content

After the workshop, the delegates will be able to:

• Design Class Models in EA;
• Conduct Use Case-driven Design;
• Maintain code and UML models in synch;
• Produce specifications and documentations.

Labs and Exercises

The Workshop will include several practical exercises based on real-life examples and closely emulating real-life activities.
