Course Overview

Use Case modelling is the industry standard for requirements specification. At this stage, any Business Analyst, or a person working in cooperation with a Business Analyst, is expected to master Use Case Modelling.

Our hands-on course will provide the attendants with the capability to conduct Use Case Modelling comfortable, in front of other people if required. We will also teach you to implement traceability and produce printed Reports.

The course is designed for:

  • Business Analysts and System Analysts who didn't use Use Cases before;
  • Business Analysts and System Analysts who already use Use Cases however want to improve their technique, productivity or understanding;
  • Subject Matter Experts looking for more effective participation in Requirements Modelling;
  • IT professionals looking to move into Business Analysis roles;
  • People who attended other Use Case Modelling courses yet were not delivered practical skills.

After the workshop, the delegates will be able to:

  • Understanding of Use Cases Modelling and its Best Practices
  • Record Business Requirements using Business Use Cases;
  • Record Requirements with Use Cases;
  • Implement traceability on Use Case level;
  • Conduct Use Case Modelling Session and  Workshops.

Labs and Exercises

The Workshop will include several practical exercises based on real-life examples and closely emulating real-life activities.

To assist the development of practical skills, Business Abstraction designed integrated training environment that deliver superior training capabilities:

  • The Trainer can monitors the progress of all trainees at the same time;
  • Trainees present their work on a big screen and discuss it with peers;
  • The Trainer can work with a trainee on an example with others observing and contributing.

As a result, we achieve training productivity comparable with on-on-one training while enable communication and providing more realistic environment.
