"Modelling Practice with Enterprise Architect" Workshops

Series  Overview

The series of "Modelling Practice with Enterprise Architect" workshops is created for busy IT professionals who cannot dedicate a week to comprehensive training. It allows gradual improvement of IT Practices, one Practice at a time.

Each Workshop focuses on achieving complete competence in the specified Practice. This is achieved by adding more advanced elements to modelling notation and software controls:

• Learning and working with core modelling patterns within the specified Practice. We extracted our pattern library from wide body of knowledge and our own extensive consulting practice, and offer it exclusively through our training.
• Making models understandable by target audience. We look at specific techniques that makes models easy to understand. 
• Modelling productivity. Each Workshop will include specific techniques to ensure prompt and cost-effective delivery of models and related specifications.
• Working as a team. Each Workshop will teach to collaborate within the specified practice.
• Presentation. It is not  enough to excel in a specified practice - it is important to communicate the solution and the value. Each Workshop includes presentation sessions where you will master your model presentation technique.

Small Groups

Most of the groups will be 8 people or less. We guarantee that no group will have more than 12 people.

Labs and Exercises

The Workshop will include several practical exercises based on real-life examples and closely emulating real-life activities.

To assist the development of practical skills, Business Abstraction designed integrated training environment that deliver superior training capabilities:

• The Trainer can monitors the progress of all trainees at the same time;
• Trainees present their work on a big screen and discuss it with peers;
• The Trainer can work with a trainee on an example with others observing and contributing.

As a result, we achieve training productivity comparable with one-on-one training while enable communication and providing more realistic environment.
