Implementing Zachman Framework with Sparx Enterprise Architect

Course Overview

Zachman Framework is the oldest and perhaps the most popular framework for Enterprise Architecture. Till recently, Enterprise Architecture was associated with hugely expensive projects usually delivered by major consulting companies.

Sparx Enterprise Architect Add-in for Zachman Framework and Business Abstraction training make Enterprise Architecture affordable and effective. After 2 days of training the attendants will be able to start building centralised, systematic and navigatable model of enterprise IT solution.

• Work with Sparx Zachman Framework Add-in;
• Record any Enterprise Architecture-related information within a Zachman Framework-compliant model;
• Use alternative Zachman Framework toolkit if required by the enterprise;
• Modify and adapt Zachman framework for the enterprise needs;
• Comfortably navigate through a Zachman Framework-compliant model.

Labs and Exercises

The Workshop will include several practical exercises based on real-life examples and closely emulating real-life activities.

To assist the development of practical skills, Business Abstraction designed integrated training environment that deliver superior training capabilities:

• The Trainer can monitors the progress of all trainees at the same time;
• Trainees present their work on a big screen and discuss it with peers;
• The Trainer can work with a trainee on an example with others observing and contributing.
