FIBO (Financial Industry Business Ontology) is defined as the industry standard resource for the definitions of business concepts in the financial services industry. As such, it relieves Financial Services enterprises from the need to develop own Conceptual Model, and provides reliable framework for enterprise data integration.
Information is naturally connected. For example, when a case officer makes a decision on an application, we assume there is information associated with the case officer, the applicants, the type of application, the person who defined that type of applications, etc. However, till recently, enterprises have no way of storing information, or even modelling information, in the ways that reflect their connected nature.produced reliable, flexible, comprehensive models that cover the fine details while providing good generic overview.
The course is designed for non-technical people – Data Architects, Data Analysts, as well as managers and executives concerned with data, from CDO downwards. It covers:
- Understanding connected information
- Understanding Semantic Metadata and Resource Description Framework
- Overview of converting data to Semantic Graph
- Querying Semantic Graph with Sparql
