Overview

Use Case modelling is the industry standard for requirements specification, however incorect use of the technology often leads to project failuers. The course provides reliable and consistent approach and practical skills in producing readable and effective Use Case models.

Audience:

The course is designed for Business Analysts and System Analysts. It is applicable to teams using Rational Rose, Telelogic Tao, Holocentric Modeller, Microsoft Visio and other tools, as well as for teams that decided to follow paper & whiteboard UML practice.

Content

After the workshop, the delegates will be able to:

  • Define Use Case Modelling context;
  • Record Business Requirements using Business Use Cases;
  • Record Requirements with Use Cases;
  • Use quality of modelling criteria;
  • Correctly apply Essential and Scenario Use Cases
  • Read Requirements presented in Use Cases;
  • Implement traceability on Use Case level.

Every training day contains approximatelly 50% of closely supervised individual work, modelling workshops and presentations.
