Technology-Aware Strategic Business Analysis

Unlearning five decades of restrictions

Yes, Information Technology is more than half a century old. And we started with huge devices that were much less powerful than a modern smartwatch, that couldn't do much. For five decades, we were teaching the business to restrict their demands, to censor their needs, to understand our limitations.

Before that we had paper- based processing. Some business processes still suffer from paper-oriented thinking - say we assume we need to create a case, and pass it from one desk to another.

Most of those limitations are no longer valid, however they are anchored deep into people's thinking, and impact the Requirements they provide to us.

A truly innovation project needs to break through such web of habitual restrictions. To do that Business Abstraction developed Technology-Aware Strategic Business Analysis (TASBA). Unlike the traditional Business Analysis, TASBA includes special techniques to avoid subconscious restrictions.
